I’ve been back into my running routine for most of a year now, and so far it’s been good, especially since January 06. You can see from the charts that it’s still a little up and down, though. In general, I’m pleased, and I think it’s been doing some good. I’ve dropped down to about 13.5 stone [about 190lbs], although I’ve been there for about 4 or 5 months now. The times have been good lately [around Easter of 2006, as I write this], and I can’t believe I’m actually getting times under 23 minutes for my 3.2 mile run. This may just be a blip, though, since it’s only happened a couple times and we’re about to head into the hotter weather. I don’t run well in the heat.
Things look good for maintaining this schedule for a while. I should be able to hold on through the summer if I want to [there’s a building project that may interfere], and in the fall there will still be a little window in the middle of the day I can use. The year after should relax even more, since both girls will be in Big School. Cross your fingers. :)
